Refund policy
Admission is a one-time charge. If it was a mistake, we will undo it — with one permanent consequence you should understand first.
Last updated: September 1, 2026
Where things stand today
Paid admissions are currently closed. No payments are being accepted. Nothing on THE LIST can charge you right now, so there is nothing new to refund. The policy below stays published because it governs every payment that has already been made and every payment made once admissions reopen.
The 14-day change-of-mind refund
You may request a full refund of your admission fee within 14 calendar days of being admitted, for any reason at all — including simply changing your mind. Write to support@getonthelist.lol from the address on your account and include your member number. We do not require a justification.
There is one condition, and it will only apply once THE SPOTLIGHT exists: the voluntary refund is available only if none of your complimentary Spotlight airtime has gone live. If a complimentary promotion has been scheduled but has not started, you can cancel it and your refund eligibility is unaffected. Once complimentary airtime has actually run, you have received part of what you paid for, and the change-of-mind refund is no longer available.
One credit is one synchronized hour. A campaign appears on the homepage and at the top of THE ROOM at the same time, and that counts as a single hour of airtime, not two — so appearing in both places consumes one credit and affects your refund eligibility once, not twice.
THE SPOTLIGHT is not implemented yet, so nothing can currently consume your airtime and this condition cannot currently be triggered. When it launches, this consequence will be disclosed again before any Spotlight campaign begins.
What a refund does
Refund requests are submitted through the support address above. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through whichever payment provider processed the original charge, and typically appear within five to ten business days depending on your bank.
When a refund completes, your membership access ends and your member number is marked as retired. A retired number is not transferred and is not issued to anyone else. The register records that the number was issued once, on a particular date, and that record stands.
A refund does not create a resale right or a secondary-market right of any kind. It also matters if you were hoping to refund and rejoin at a lower number: you cannot. A later admission gives you a later number at its own price.
After 14 days
After 14 days, a change of mind alone does not normally qualify for a refund. Admission is a one-time fee for a permanent record, not a subscription, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing further to charge you.
Some things remain refundable regardless of how long it has been: duplicate charges, non-delivery, technical failure on our side, refunds required by applicable law, and refunds that the payment provider handling the charge determines are necessary. If something has genuinely gone wrong, write to us whenever you notice it.
Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory consumer rights. Where local law gives you a right we have not described here, that right applies.
If admission fails
If your payment is taken but a number cannot be issued — for instance because the number you were quoted was claimed in the same moment by someone else — you are not left holding a charge for nothing. You are never charged for a number you did not receive, and we will refund any payment that could not be honoured.
Chargebacks and who decides
Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank. We would rather refund you directly; it is faster for you and cheaper for us. A reversed payment ends the membership and retires the number on the same terms as a refund.
Where a payment provider acts as the merchant of record for your purchase, we cannot override their refund or chargeback decisions, and we do not claim to. Where they determine a refund is required, it is made. Paid admissions are closed and no provider is currently engaged, so this clause describes how past payments are handled and how future ones will be.
If we ever close
THE LIST is not sold as “lifetime access.” If we discontinue THE ROOM permanently, every member is guaranteed at least 60 calendar days of access from the date their payment succeeded, and a member who does not receive those 60 days receives a full refund. The full commitment, including notice periods and what happens to THE REGISTER, is in section 7 of the Terms of Service.
